Bear up

" Bear up" 一用语并非形容一头凶狠的熊，是解作处于困难或烦扰的境况下，仍能坚忍不屈及鼓足勇气。

Example

Walking through a forest David encountered a bear in the path. " I can't hide so i 

must bear up and not be afraid." David said. Bear up he did, and in the end the bear turned and walked away. To bear up means to stay strong and brave in an annoying or difficult situation.

Do a stretch

俗语上， “ A stretch" 是指一个徒刑， “ Do a stretch" 便是坐牢服刑之意。

Example

Uncle willy is doing a stretch. For all know he may be doing a stretch for many years to come. Colloquially a stretch is a jail or prison sentence and to do a stretch is to spend time in jail or prison serving that sentence.

For me

Release me !! I am not the stretch....

As Free As Air

Example

Last year Manfred retired. " My time is my own now," he smiled. " I'm as free as air". To be as free as air is to be unrestrained and to have no obligations. Imagine we have this expression because, as no one owns the air, it costs us nothing to use it.

For me

I think i cannot use " as free as air" in the Mars.

Example

During my study week , my friend cooked some nice nice food for me.

Give A Jingle

If you are uni student, remember to give a jingle for your parents when you free.

Go Places and See People

Example
